I really love the imagery brought in by the first line. I think it sets a very clear tone for the piece, whilst the second conjures an ideal of someone very much 'on the edge' of their life, realising that this is -their- moment to make the biggest decision of their life. Not completely sure of the final line as it doesn't match the first two's emotional outpouring, but it is amazing nonetheless.
